Training Journal #7
As you probably know, I am not training to run a half-marathon any longer because I have not been able to squeeze in the time needed to run. But I am still reading and learning about half marathon and full marathon trainings and will be focusing on some specific aspects of training in the coming weeks. One of the most important aspects- food as fuel! But before we talk about food, I do want to tell you how I have been training. I ran last week as well as lifted, and did general cardio. I am working out just about every day but I do not run every day.
I do want to leave you with one little tidbit before I “run” off to my next task: carbohydrates are not only good for you but necessary for the body to function properly and necessary for energy.
